Véron & Associés is pleased to host a one day seminar on:

Lessons learnt from patent case law
in Europe
in 2013 and 2014

Its purpose is to highlight the main lessons to be drawn from case law of 2013 and 2014 in Germany, France, The Netherlands and the UK on the following topics:
  • Employee inventions;
  • Patent eligibility;
  • Validity (notably insufficiency, novelty and inventive step);
  • Post grant amendments;
  • Preliminary injunctions;
  • Infringement (contributory infringement and infringement by equivalence);
  • Antitrust and IP (Frand);
  • Damages.
For each topic, the lessons will be drawn by a panel comprising top patent litigators:
  • Maximilian von Rospatt and Henrik Timmann from Rospatt Osten Pross for Germany;
  • Gertjan Kuipers and Jan Pieter Hustinx from De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek N.V. for The Netherlands;
  • Penny Gilbert and Tim Whitfield from Powell Gilbert LLP for the UK.
